Description of Orion SkyView Pro ED100 EQ Apochromatic Refractor Telescope
The refractor revolution continues at Orion with the SkyView Pro 100mm ED. It's a complete observing package featuring the ED100mm apochromatic refractor optical tube assembly paired with the venerable SkyView Pro equatorial mount/tripod -- at an unprecedented low price. The ED100 delivers images remarkably free of chromatic aberration, thanks to its fully multi-coated 100mm objective doublet. It's crafted with one element of FPL-53 extra-low dispersion "ED" optical glass from Japan. The 100mm aperture gives it 56% greater light grasp than our ED80. And the 900mm focal length (f/9.0) is ideal for visual planetary and lunar study and excels for imaging work as well. This package includes a host of fine accessories: 2" mirror diagonal (with 1.25" insert), two Sirius Plossl eyepieces (1.25"), 6x30 finder scope, tube rings and mounting plate.Digital Cameras and Photo Categories
