Double your astronomy viewing pleasure with this pleasantly portable two-scope mini altazimuth mount! The Orion SkyView Mini Altazimuth Mount features not one, but two dovetail telescope-mounting saddles, allowing you to attach two telescopes in tandem. Precise slow-motion controls on both axes (altitude: up / down and azimuth: left / right) make it easy to fine-tune your aim, even when viewing at high magnifications. The smooth slow-motion control knobs also let you precisley track objects as they appear to migrate across the night sky. Using the Orion SkyView Mini Altazimuth Mount is a great way to increase observing efficiency at star-parties by aiming two telescopes at the same area of sky. For instance, you could attach a high-power compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope on one side, and a wide-field fast refractor on the other to view the same area at high-magnification, and at lower powers.
