The SkyView AZ mount is a heavy-duty altazimuth mount that can support large instruments weighing up to 25 lbs. â?" without the need for counterweights -- allowing smooth, simple, stable operation. It's designed to hold one telescope, or two telescopes side by side! The SkyView AZ's altazimuth head features dual dovetail slots to allow attachment of two telescopes in tandem, to double your viewing versatility. (You do have more than one telescope, don't you?) Now you can keep, say, your rich-field refractor and your long focal-length Mak or SCT on the same mount at the same time! Or your daytime spotting scope and your deep space reflector. The SkyView AZ mount provides a stable platform for easy altazimuth viewing with telescopes as large as an 8" reflector or 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain.
