This classic brass hand telescope recalls the days when the ships that sailed the high seas did, quite literally, sail. Today this expertly handcrafted viewing instrument lets you survey ocean-going vessels from the shore or peer in on a robin's nest from the porch. It has fully anti-reflection coated, achromatic glass optics contained in a sectioned tube of polished brass that extends for viewing and collapses for convenient, compact storage. For long-distance viewing and magnification to 30x power, this scope brings distant subjects boldly into view. Its big 50mm objective lens ensures excellent image brightness and clarity. Sharp focus is achieved by sliding the eyepiece section in or out. Extended length, 28"; collapses to 9.5".
